Rogers: "I'm Rodney. I'm still Rodney"

In an interview with the Charlotte Observer, former Net Rodney Rogers describes the dirt bike accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down and the aftermath that left him both scarred and scared. He talks as well about praying for the use of his hands and feet again. "I told God that I need to be able to walk and use my hands again. Because I've got a lot of stuff to do."

I wish him the best of luck and hope he is able to recover, either through his own efforts or scientific breakthroughs.

So depressing. Hard to read the whole article. Just hope that somehow RR can pull some sort of Denis Byrd miracle. Maybe with further stem cell research? Best wishes to RR.
