Duncan, Rambis Praise Lopez's Development

Everyone knows what All-Star Devin Harris thinks of Brook Lopez's game, and he's not alone. Lopez's idol, Tim Duncan, says, "I think he played even better the second time than he did the first". Kurt Rambis, Phil Jackson's assistant who helped out with the rookies Friday, adds, "I think Brook already gets it. I think he’s got a great grasp of the sport and the game." As for Lopez? "I thought I did all right."

Brook is such a great player in every aspect. He has a great game where he can post up, has a nice baby hook, plays the pick and roll, has shown the ability to stick with plays and get some nice putbacks, and has a nice outside stroke. On defense, he rebounds the ball, he blocks and alters shot, and for the most part stays out of foul trouble although it can be trouble for him some games. He also has a great personality and loves the game. Brook seemed more interested in defense than in offense in an all-star game yesterday. Also, he loves to learn. He always takes his coaches advice to heart. I want the Nets to bring in someone who can teach him to become better, whether somebody retired or a veteran center that will teach him in hte game.

THE THRILLER. A great kid and soon to be a great player. The Nets are blessed that 10 other teams passed on this guy
