Boone Latest in Nets Infirmary

Yi Jianlian will get a lot of time on the court Monday. Josh Boone and Eduardo Najera will be in plainclothes. Boone's left knee is sore, keeping him out for the first time this season. An MRI revealed no serious damage so he's day-to-day. Chris Douglas-Roberts remains out while he waits for the swelling of his ankle to go down. Rafer Alston, who's been out with a sore neck and back, is available.

Awesome!

I love when SG/SFs play PF, and I love when we get outrebounded by 10+ rebounds a game! It reminds our team we have to work so much harder than the other team just to lose by a respectable amount.

Perhaps S.Williams actually plays more than 15 minutes?

LOL @ tim..
alston is a bit of a nut, he does way too much dribbling.. i hope he doesn’t cut into dooling’s minutes

Let’s see a three man big rotation of Lopez, Yi and Battie. No small ball please.

The good news just keeps coming…Boone has actually played almost up to his potential. Still not even an NBA rotation player on a good team, he has at least not been a total embarrassment. It is a shame about CDR being out, he was playing pretty well at times. While looking for Brook to continue to figure out how to score when defenses have figured out he is the only player on the team worth guarding, I am also looking forward to YI’s third good game in a row. Even TWILL has, at times recently, looked like he was beginning to “get it”. Devin’s shot selection and lack of team play continues to point to why Dallas was willing to let him go for JKIDD. I am still hoping for ten wins this season, but it is not looking good. I wonder what the team will look like at the all star break, NEXT SEASON?

Boone at best is a backup, at worst a starter.

He has been playing starter minutes.

Not good for Boone, not good for the team…

“Josh Boone was a man. Yes a big man.
With an eye like an “Ian” eagle and as tall as a mountain was he.
Josh Boone was a man. Yes a big man.
He was brave, he was fearless and as tough as a mighty oak tree".

Feel free to fill in the rest…

Josh Boone was a man. Yes a big man.
When sick kids needed toys he put them in his van.
Josh Boone was a man. Yes a big man.
Only 4 years a Net, yet he is our Vet.

He’s the only decent backup big we have.

Get well soon, Josh!
