It's About the Teaching

The Nets haven't had much practice time in the weeks since Kiki Vandeweghe --and Del Harris-- took over, so the new coaches are taking advantage of the two days they have before the Timberwolves game Wednesday. With Harris doing much if not most of the teaching, the staff installed a few wrinkles--more motion, more pick and rolls--in the offense and of course focused again on defense.

the offense is so boring to watch. It’s the same Lopez or Boone pick and roll…We were more fun to watch with the Princeton O.

I am most unhappy with the coaching staff not playing TWILL and playing Hassell and Simmons instead. We are not winning, and not even close, so why worry about rookie mistakes that TWILL will make?

Simmon sucks…hassell should play though…he can defend the lebrons, etc.

I’m most interested to see how hes going to use Yi in the offense.

part of the offense shold be to not allow Devin to shoot 3s, he just isnt a good 3 point shooter, need to reign him in a little

@Johnfried

There is a chance that Eddie Jordan could be available after this year. He made a poor decision to go to Philly because they are not in the least bit built to run his offense. You are supposed to run the offense through the center which is Dalembart!?!? Lopez has inside/outside skills and would look great in that offense.

Why is Kiki coaching and not Del? With a team full of rookies and beginners, can’t the COACH have some experience? Is this a money thing? Is Del definitely here through the season?

@ Andy

I like Hassell too, but TWill should be ahead of him in the rotation.
