Harris to Start in Sacto

Devin Harris hasn't started since the season opener at the IZOD, 13 losses ago. He starts Friday vs. the Kings. Rafer Alston said he told Lawrence Frank it was time to hand the keys back to Harris and Frank agreed. Courtney Lee won't start but will team with his Magic backcourt mate Alston off the bench. The Nets will suit up 10 players. Meanwhile, Harris jokes the team has Chris Douglas-Roberts on "suicide watch".

Alston will def be traded at the deadline….Dooling will be backing up Harris soon….I would actually trade Harris for a pf and start Dooling.

u wouldnt say that if harris started scoring 30 pts again…

By the deadline, Dooling may be the better choice to trade. He has a $500K guarantee next year. Trade him instead of Alston and you have more cap space in July.
Dooling had a career year last season then hip surgery. No one should expect him to equal it.
It’s immaterial who’s better. This season is done and you may want to give TWill more minutes at the point anyway. Get rid of as much salary as you can.

Harris won’t be going off for 30+ as regularly as he did last year, if he does at all.
two things:
Vince Carter double teams
defenses now center on Harris

This team would be better off if DH just passed the ball and played D.
If he focused on getting other players involved and in rhythm early, the team would be more dangerous.
CLee should be on the bench with Rafer.
Let TWill and CDR start.
Funny how SWill is getting PT!!!
Swat needs to stay focused every second of the game.
TWill could be Tyreke evans if he was given the chance!!!!

Suicide, real funny subject. Send more of that glibbity.
Meanwhile, enough purging. This place is like a club for bolemics (see, I can be glib too). They’ve already dumped enough salary. You’e going to have to have 12-15 players next year. A healthy Keyon at $3.3 or whatever he makes is not an extravagence — he’s a third guard.

definitely keep Keyon.
trade Alston ASAP if a trade is available.
Rafer won’t be happy getting 10 min/game.
Keyon will adapt to whatever is necessary.
We are not getting 2 Max FA, so enough with reducing salary. Time to start cashing in so at least one top FA comes here (would be first in team history).
Alston for Brandon Bass is best way to get back for losing RA. Salaries match. Orlando saves cap space and gets insurance if Nelson doesn’t return to old form.

Why does alston have to tell frank to start Harris couldn’t he figure that out himself?

I don’t think TWill can be as good as Tyreke Evans. Differnet types. Nobody is taking TWill’s chance away. He’s playing alot. What the…?.
It’s nice than that Harris is back starting. Oh wait, He’s playing like total crap.
It’s also nice that Boone and Hassell are starting for defense. Will they combine for 10 pts? Maybe. Anyway there are very few options at the 3. None at the 4.
Evans looks good. Very strong body with skill. And it looks like he’s already going to be allowed by the refs to use his off-arm to discard scrawny defnders like CDR a-la Wade. Good for him and the Kings. Bad for the Nets tonight.

So glad we didn’t try to get Boozer and traded away Carter and Anderson for crap players….. 0-16 is right where we want to be right?
This team sucks. No hope. Nothing good will come out of this season.

You know , I’m sitting here watching the game (it’s halftime ) and I’m just noticing the annoyed looks on our players’ faces. I sure the loosing streak has something to do with it but I would bet that the players are just as annoyed with the coach as some of us fans are. All I see on the sideline is Lawrence Frank waiving his ars around, screaming and micro managing the players like they are some junior varsity high school team. When you are micro managed and treated like this is the first time you’ve picked up a basketball , you become a product of your enviroment. Just imagine if you would , being at work and your boss walks into your office every 5 minutes yelling and telling you to do things his way , which may not nessesarily be the exact way you aproach things. You’d be frushtrated too and this will affect the way you normaly do things. as a coach You can scream and throw your arms around as much as you want in practice but when it’s game time let the players play their game. I not even on the team and LF kills my moral. Loose the psyco coach and the wins will come.

“let’s go let’s go " EVERY possesion.
Shut the heck up. You are sooooooo annoying.
Only if the players on the roster could truely say how they feel about eLF, I’d love to here their true feeling towards him.
