On the Road Again...a Transient Band

Keyon Dooling bought a condo in Orlando in 2005 but regrets it. He lives in New Jersey now and rents his Florida place to a member of the Magic. Courtney Lee almost bought a condo in Orlando last year and is glad he didn't. He rents a condo owned by Boki Nachbar in a gated community where Nenad Krstic, Zoran Planinic, Jason Kidd, Devin Harris and others have all lived. It's all very typical for pro athletes.

Not your standard NYC condo!
Speaking of Orlando, why not keep that Condo warm so that Nets can send Alston back there. With Nelson injured, Rafer could be welcome? How about Brandon Bass in return. He’s not getting much PT anyway. I wouldn’t even wait for Dooling to get healthy if Orlando was will to make trade.
Nets could have at least 5 wins right now with BBass in their lineup.

The way this bum plays he should be somewhere on the And1 tour, being paid scraps and being forced to rent some hole in the wall somewhere in Essex county for 450 a month

No thanks to bandaid solutions like Brandon Bass. Our season is already lost, he wouldnt make us that much better. Waht’s the difference between winning 15 or 17-18? Thats all Bass would do for us. We’ll get a much better PF in the draft. And dont bring up that bull about being more attractive to FAs. He wouldnt make a difference. We aint landing a top tier FA next summer, no matter what do we do the remainder of this season.

@Andrés — Bass is better than that. Long solid career coming up for Bass, maybe sort of like Haslem.
Still, he wouldnt save the season. But Bass is a keeper, I wouldnt mind collecting some keepers.

@Andres
I thought you desperately wanted to get rid of Alston and you wanted to keep Yi. Bass is the #1 possibility at PF that would allow Yi to still have chance to get plenty of PT
Bass most certainly would mean more than a few extra wins. Every close loss this year would have been a win with Bass.
Nets will soon be overloaded at the #1/2 positions and are under-underwhelmed at #4/5.
We could of course bring up your favorite PF, Carlos Boozer, who is tearing up the league right now as his price tag keeps rising.
No PF draft pick this year would ever match Boozer’s level and help as much as he would for the next few years.
More importantly Proky expects to land a top FA and more, as he was already commenting about wanting to go after Lebron.
