Game 10 - Nets @ Heat - Saturday, November 14, 7:30

The NBA fates can be cruel. After looking beat in their loss to the Magic, the Nets head down the Florida peninsula to Miami Saturday to face the Heat, who are playing well at 6-2 and have had two days rest. Three Nets--Brook Lopez, Rafer Alston and Trenton Hassell--have averaged 40 minutes a game over the last week (four games) while rookie Terrence Williams has put in 34 a game off the bench.

I have not predicted a single win this year. But tomorrow at the Heat we Will get first win. Wade will have a terrible night and score most of his points from the free throw line. After tomorrow’s game we will no longer be winnless. I guarentee it!!!!!!

LOL…. Cotto doesn’t have even a single shot against Pacquiao. Face it. Pacquiao is the best fighter ever and he will be on top ALONE looking down to other boxing legends after this fight. And im not even a Filipino fan so you can tell that he is famous, already a legend and one humble pound for pound fighter.
One thing i like about him eventhough he suck on speaking in english, although improving, he gets his points across, always smiling and very funny.
Have nothing to say about the game against the Heat. We all know whats going to happen.

@omG
you prediction seems crazier than mine.

Ok, we are going to go 0-10, but if we are going to have any shot at slowing D-wade down, we are going to have to start twill. He needs to be our starting two guard today against Dwade.

This is going to be a blow out. Wade will wrap this up quickly so that he can go watch the fight.

Yeah, this game will be ugly. I can only imagine how tired Alston, Lopez, T.Will and CDR will be.
The only things I want to see tonight…
1. Lopez have a bounce back night. He always struggles against Howard (who doesn’t), but he needs to show he can make adjustments. He needs to start getting the ball much lower in the post, which means he needs to work harder for position and the guards needs to get him better entry passes.
2. T.Williams guard Wade. If T.Williams can hold Wade to under 30 and/or an inefficent shooting night, I’ll be impressed. If CDR plays, maybe the two of them should try getting Wade in foul trouble. W/o Wade Miami is not a very talented team.
3. S.Williams guard Beasley. Swat did great against Beasley in summer league last year (yeah I know, it’s summer league) but he looked like the perfect defender for Beasley’s game.

I have a grand plan to keep it close. Put Najera on a Bus going in the wrong direction. Just long enough that when he realizes what’s happened, he gets back to the arena in time for the last 5 minutes.
That way, we keep it close until that mark. BUT, we don’t have to get all excited that we might actually win, because we probably don’t have the manpower to win games at the end anyway. And instead of getting psyched and building hope, we will see Najera come into the game and go: “Phew at least I don’t have to go through the anxiety of getting my hopes up and losing.” Najera is in……Guaranteed LOSS.

0-10…The HEAT are going to cream us. We are forced to play those players who would ordinarily be the 9th through 15 players on our roster. All these injuries are the worst thing that could happen to us, well, almost the worst. The worst would be if something bad happened to Brook…Will DVR the game again, and scan for the highlights. I just can’t sit and watch us, with THESE players on the floor.

Heat will Hammer the Nets hard. 170-69
Wade 60-11-11 beasley 20 and Oneal 20
Lopez 15-8 Alston 12-5 Twill 14-11
sigh, oh well at least i can put my money save on miami.
im going to bet on:
Atlanta beats Hornets
Miami hammers Nets
Cavaliers owns Jazz
Bulls impale 76ers
Grizzies rams Wolves
Portland declaws Bobcats
Atl wins by 10 pts (wont bet if they say more than 10)
Mia wins by 15 pts (need to be realist but im sure they win over 25 pts)
Cavs wins by 10 pts (Deron is out, i think family issues)
Memphis wins by 10 pts (Al jeff is not playing tonight and i still think 10 points are way too much)
Portland wins by 15 pts (bobcats rarely scores 100 points so i can bet Portland + charlotte both together wont get 190 points).
The other teams gives me the Creeps. OKC has beaten spurs plenty of times (duncan, parker out sounds like OKC wins)
Indiana has beaten the big 3 last year, why not again tonight, Det and Was makes me feel nervious, GSW and Bucks if both togheter hit 200 pts ill bet on them (the only way ill bet on them)
I already smell cash $$ $$ $$ $$ $_$

Tough Loss!!! Start Sean Williams at PF. He and Brook are the only real defenders and rebounders on this team.
