Lee Will Sit Out the Weekend

Courtney Lee, who felt a "zing" in his groin Thursday, will be held out of this weekend's games in Orlando and Miami. Chris Douglas-Roberts will be in uniform Friday, but is still weak from the flu, so it's unknown if or how long he can play. Devin Harris' status for next week is still up in the air. So for the third straight game, the Nets will rely on eight players, the league minimum.

A zing in his groin? That’s a total “that’s what she said”

Who’s Courtney Lee? Wasn’t she married to Kurt Cobain?

i’m beginning to suspect Miss Courtney is simply trying to avoid participating in the embarrassment we call the Nets. I expect a lot of the mystery tweaks and zings all year…

Maybe we can get the Magic to trade us back the injured Anderson for the injured Lee. It wouldn’t hurt to ask, would it? it would make sense for both teams. 20/20 hindsight of course.

I know he hasn’t live up to his numbers he put up last year. But can we just take it easy. He does look lost and his jumper is not falling. Can we wait and see what happens we have our starters back and playing together?
I really happy for my friend Taj Gibson on the Bulls. Jeah!!!

Have you noticed that Opie never gets thrown out of any games. He’s afraid if the team wins he won’t be called back to coach.

Opie got tossed out of a game last year…. If I recall correctly, the team rallied back from like a 15 point defecit to win.

Woo hoo! I’m excited for another 4-14 shooting, 4 turnover night from T-Will!

I had a zing in my groin once — best massage parlor I ever went to.

T-Will and Lopez will be the only entertaining part of the game. T-Will is exciting to watch… even when he screws up.

At least he doesnt suck as bad as the knick Gallinari ,You ever see how he runs lol , i think he gallo will be a bobby simmons type player

@Gallimari;
Gallimari / Gallinari ? Are you guys cousins or what?
by Mike on Nov 13, 2009 3:59 PM EST reply actions
what the heck? Gallinari is doing a lot better than Simmons and Lee, although I’d take TWill over him anyday because Terrence plays on both ends. I don’t care if TWill is shooting bad since he’s the only perimeter player right now who can creat his shots (better than Simmons and Hassell). But since he’s now getting defensive attention as like a primary offensive player, he will of cuz struggles with shooting high percentage. That’s why I been saying do not take shooting percentage as something objective. If you shoot really well as the 4th option in a team, that doesn’t mean you’ll keep shooting well when you’re the first option. The game gets harder as you get more defense thrown at you; simple logic!

Terrence Williams should just worry about creating plays for his teammates, rebounding, and defense. The shooting will come.
Courtney Lee needs to continue playing aggressive on the ball d when he returns and focus on making his three pointers and finish his lay ups.

0 – 9?
You know, I smell a let down by the magic and the Nets shocking them on a last minute rally…… good dream. Lopez does not play well against howard, so we have no chance

I don’t think any of the currently inactive players should be allowed to come back until they are all 100% again.

NY METS style injuries…When will any of these players be healthy? Or do they just not want to play? Lucky the Chinese advertisers who Yormark signed up can’t get their money back, or can they? I can’t watch tonight, it would be too painful. I am DVR ‘ing the game and I’ll scan for highlights later. 0-15?

Read between the lines, Nets fans.
There will be a lot of fake injuries by Nets players this sesson. The Nets are intentionally tanking this season; it’s so obvious!
