Game 9 - Nets @ Magic - Friday, November 13, 7:00

A Friday the 13th game against a team named the Magic? The Nets laugh at such jinxes. What else can they do? Seeking their first win after eight losses--the last three heartbreakers--the Nets will face at least one of the two players they traded in June. Vince Carter, still hobbled a bit from an ankle sprain suffered Opening Night at the IZOD, will play. Ryan Anderson, also down with an ankle sprain, is questionable.

Hopefully Ryan won’t play. 0-9 and watching him bury three’s would make me look with glee on being infested with the Swine Flu.
I can’t take it anymore.

Lopez will have 3 fouls within the first quarter and a half due to the NBA’s shoddy and corrupt officiating.
Someone won some cash last night at the expensive of Orlando, the officiating in that Magic/Cavs game was god awful.

Byron Scott got fired. I think the Nets should consider getting him as head coach. But they won’t because the Nets fired him a few years ago.
But this is a tough game for the Nets and I just hope the Nets fight hard as they have been doing lately.

Yeah, that reason is Jason Kidd’s ego and Rod Thorn’s stupidity.
Scott had a back to back final run on his resume.

They cut Bscott loose cause they were losing. Frankly, I’d argue its the lack of talent Chris Paul has 2 work with these days. Byron is a great tough coach. Its just real easy to see the coach as the problem from a front office point of view. I’d give him a chance if i were Thorn…..but his man love for Frank wont allow that to happen.

also…
Vince Carter will Score 30-8-6. 1 blk and 2 stls
Lopez 18-8-2
still Magics win by +25
But if CDR sniffs Nets could win because no one will want to defend him.
Feed CDR
CDR: 35-3-3
Now only then the Nets could get a win still 91-90
ahahahahahahhahahhaha
0-9 keep dreaming ;)

Big news, Bass is out with the flu for tonight’s game. Magic have no true PF, so Nets should put either Boone or SWat at the 4 for rebounding against Barnes. Nets probably still lose, but may put up a good fight if Magic get into foul trouble.

The Orlando board on RealGM are having a good laugh about it

@ Mr. omG:
I hope CDR plays and gets your message that he should sniffle all over the place. People are so spooked about swine flu that we may even get a break rebounding the ball – ’cause no one will want to touch it right after CDR! Hey, maybe we can get some offensive rebounds!
