The Nets got down to the NBA limit 15 players Thursday by waiving their three training camp invites--guard Will Blalock and forwards Bennet Davis and Brian Hamilton. Blalock appeared in four preseason game, including Wednesday's game vs. the Knicks, averaging a point and 1.5 rebounds. David and Hamilton each played in one preseason game but did not score. And if Alston gets hurt, T-Will is are starting PG? The Nets 2009 11th overall draft pick is looking like a steal right now, seriously!

I am surprised and disappointed that these are the 15 players we will be starting the season with. I really thought and hoped that somehow Thorn and KIKI could make a deal or two to clean up and get more value from the number ten to 15 players on our roster. But with DOOLING not projected back until December, we really need Alston till January, therefore, I guess we didn’t have much else to trade.
