Nets PG Devin Harris’ team leading 22.3 pg nearly doubles his career average but it has at the expense of the staunch D on which he built his rep in Dallas.
Lawrence Frank benched both Harris and Vince Carter for the second half of what became a blowout loss to Boston on Jan. 17. An opening 18-2 Celtics run on top of the torching that seldom-used Blazers rook Jerryd Bayless had given Harris two nights earlier made up Frank’s mind.
Guess a number of off-season trades haven’t quite worked out. Milwaukee’s Richard Jefferson, Toronto’s Jermaine O’Neal and Minnesota’s Mike Miller are all on the block.

Great observation. Devin now appears to be a uni-dimensional player, and if his shot is off (as it has been most nights recently), his play becomes desultory and has a negative affect on the whole team.
