Krstic's Recovery Was a Two-Year Process

Stay connected for news and updates

Buried in all the coverage of last night's loss was Lawrence Frank's disclosure that the Nets always believed Nenad Krstic's recovery was going to take two years. "I think when he had the surgery, the doctors and training staff were 100 percent right. It was going to take two years," said Frank who noted "Look how active he was on the glass". Krstic blew out his ACL in December 2006 but never got into top form last season.
