Game 44 - Nets @ Grizzlies - Saturday, January 24, 8:00

It's a night of returns. Chris Douglas-Roberts returns to his college town and the Grizzlies return home with a new (interim) coach, a new head coach (on his way) and 16 losses in their last 18 games--including eight straight. The Knicks beat them at the Garden Friday. Marc Iavaroni was fired Thursday night, Johnny Davis coached against the Knicks and will coach against the Nets, then Lionel Hollins takes over.

2 teams with the worst losing streaks in the league so nets will win

I’m glad that our horrible 5 game stretch is over. But what happened was a 5 game losing streak.
The Grizzlies? They’ve lost 8 in a row, have an interim coach who will play one more game, a lackluster bench, no superstar players, and they have yet to win 10 games this season.
No way can we lose. We can’t. We musn’t. We shouldn’t.
If the Nets do, then Carter and Harris don’t deserve to be in the all-star game…..
Look we have 6 very winnable games here. We have to take advantage.
76ers are getting there act together, and it all depends on Elton Brand if they can continue to succeed.
Bucks have the tiebreaker over us, but they are horrible on the road, but they are good defensively.
Bobcats have been suprising and they’ve won their last 5 out of 6 games, and one lost was by 2 to the Spurs.
And heck the Knicks are just one game below our record?!?!
We have the grizzlies, OKC, Toronto, Atl , 76ers, and then Milwaukee.
We need to make our mark here and now.
I hope that they show the hustle and the want to win like they did against the Spurs. Every team is dangerous, and we really need to step it up. we must win at least 5 of the next 6 with Atlanta the only really really deep threat.
It all depends on the Nets though? Will they underestimate their opponents?
Hopefully, they can just focus at one game at a time, and the wins will come by itself.

yo i swear if the nets don’t win they don’t deserve to make a name for themselves in this league and should just forfeit the year, and call it a wrap.
