Yi Looking Forward to Season...Chinese Restaurants

Yi Jianlian tells Ben Couch of NJNets.com he's looking forward to a lot of things: playing against Yao Ming...and learning about Chinese cuisine in the area. "I know there’s a lot of good Chinese [food] here because there are a lot of Chinese people here. I just got here, so I don’t know any restaurants. I’ll find out later." Fantasy sports? Huh?

He’s not going to have any problem finding chinese restaurants in NJ. There is like 6 just on the main st. in my town. Thats one thing we don’t have a shortage of in NJ. I hope he likes pizza because we have plenty of them too.

Yi is in the right place if he wants to sample chinese cuisine. NJ has some of the best sesame do- er i mean chicken the country has to offer.
See, if we played in Newark, Yi wouldnt have to go far to grab a bag of 4 wings dipped in hot sauce for less than 5 dollars.

general tso chicken (think i spelled that right) is the best imo.
Yi is going to be a superstar to so many here. i hope he doesnt take all the attention he will be getting from the Asian community and become complacent just because he is known here. he has a lot to prove and i hope he and those around him realize that.
i cannot wait for nets ball to start. hell i cant wait for traning camp to open where Dave, AL and Fred report little things like CDR picked vince’s pocket for an easy break away jam. i mean i just need something!!!!!

Chinatown has a full range of authentic Chinese cuisine…including the Cantonese dishes he grew up with.
He’ll be fine.
