Barclays Center Updates Renderings

The official Barclays Center website has updated its catalogue of archictects' renderings for the new arena, giving fans a better view of what they'll see when(ever) the Nets arrive in Brooklyn. The renderings show entrances, clubs, restaurants, concourse, box office, and luxury suites. Critics jumped on the new renderings, saying they show Bruce Ratner is commercializing a public space.

At least there is something to see, but I can’t help but think where are all the people in these renderings? The ones that are shown don’t seem to be too involved in the actual game. Why have an arena, if no one is watching the event(s)? At least, that’s just me.
And does anyone else think the silver building, designed by
Gehry, look like a Jenga puzzle about to topple over?

Hm…that rendering of the arena floor/court looks like a typical night at the IZOD during the weekdays
