Kryskowiak: Demands on Yi Were "Insane"

Former Bucks coach Larry Kryskowiak tells HoopsWorld's Bill Ingram that he was "amazed" Yi Jianlian had as good a rookie season as he did because the demands upon his time were "insane". Yi, he said, had the normal commitments to the Bucks as well as commitments to marketing on behalf of China. It's a hazard, writes Ingram, for any team acquiring a Chinese player...even Yao Ming.

Zoran Planinic just went for 20 points in a Croatia victory over Russia. Going by the Olympic performances thus far, I think it’s clear that we should waive Yi and sign Zoran Planinic.

Germany just lost. Chris Kaman scored 4 points on 1-for-3 shooting in 16.45 minutes, with just 2 rebounds and five turnovers. Bum! Stiff!
(All that I’m saying is give Yi a chance.)

I’m watching at NBCOlympics.com and just noticed this cheap shot in the Live Commentary on Greece-Germany:
“Kaman has gone from looking like Russell to Billy Paultz in two days.”
Hey, I liked Billy Paultz!
