Why didn’t they sign CDR? It seems like they want to see him play and earn his spot.

they always do the same with 2rounders. but he has a great future.

by Robert on Jul 2, 2008 4:55 PM EDT reply actions

I hope they sign CDR before Aug 1 or somethin’ so that on NBA 2K9 he will be on the roster, lol.

@ D.O
I hope so..

CDR is the steal of the draaft he led the NCAA tourny in scoring he doesnt need to prove himself, CDR should be signed rite away!

by DH34 on Jul 2, 2008 5:17 PM EDT reply actions

Relax, he’ll be signed in the next couple of days.

And man, I can’t wait to play as the Nets in 2k9.
I’m thinking the overall rating for the team is gonna be a 73. Is that too harsh? loll

by erick on Jul 2, 2008 5:49 PM EDT reply actions

I don’t care what the overall is…it’s gonna be so much fun running a franchise with them. I’ll keep them in Jersey, AND get them LeBron :)

by Jon on Jul 2, 2008 5:58 PM EDT reply actions

yeah i dont understand why they dont ink them all at the same time. the rookie scales are set so it isnt like the NFL where you negotiate with your picks. CDR should get a 1st rounder type of contract imo. i mean we were trying to trade back in the 1st round to get him and he will be legit. 2 years + 2 more years with options, dont let him leave a year early. keep as many of these young kids together as you can since we are rebuilding.

Forget 2k9 get live on ps3 and ill put the flash on you guys

by kidd4mvpbm on Jul 2, 2008 7:32 PM EDT reply actions

Now they can focus on basketball, hopefully these guys will be good!

by ZHAKIDD532 on Jul 2, 2008 8:23 PM EDT reply actions

kidd4mvp- nba live is horrible compared to 2k
and @D.O they usually dont put second rounders in the game their rookie year so hes probably not going to be in the game

by ben on Jul 2, 2008 9:17 PM EDT reply actions

@ben

thats your opinion

by kidd4mvpbm on Jul 2, 2008 9:40 PM EDT reply actions

agree w/ben. 2k > live. i used be big a big live fan but i tried 2k a couple years ago and would never ever think of going back. i like to try to play as real as possible with video games which is why i love 2k.

@ben, yeah that is true about 2nd rounders, but there are some 2nd rounders that were big names in college. CDR and joey dorsey come to mind right off the bat. i think they have to be included in the game.

by xcalibur on Jul 2, 2008 10:00 PM EDT reply actions

NBA LIVE is way better than 2k

by jesse on Jul 2, 2008 10:11 PM EDT reply actions

2K is 10X better than Live.

by jerrod on Jul 2, 2008 10:14 PM EDT reply actions

Yeah, despite of some bugs(Live has even more) 2k is way better!

I just want this picks going to great players!

by Pedro Alves (Portugal) on Jul 2, 2008 11:26 PM EDT reply actions

@ Ben. I think it depends whose signed by August 1 or whenever the game is made, because I don’t think Yi Jianlian was signed by then and he’s not on the Bucks roster for NBA 2K8. But that’s just what I think, not sure if I’m right or not.

by D.O. on Jul 2, 2008 11:29 PM EDT reply actions

*I meant WASN’T signed by then.^

by D.O. on Jul 2, 2008 11:30 PM EDT reply actions

I’m actually looking forward to seeing what Lopez can do.

by Trenton on Jul 2, 2008 11:33 PM EDT reply actions

NVM. Thought I made a mistake, but didn’t.^

by D.O. on Jul 2, 2008 11:33 PM EDT reply actions

NBA Live is so wack. Its basically a dunk contest all the time. But yeah, 2K gives the most realistic gameplay.

I’m praying that they’ll have CDR. lol

by dunkenyonutzz on Jul 3, 2008 12:15 AM EDT reply actions

by dominic on Jul 3, 2008 12:35 AM EDT reply actions

by biged on Jul 3, 2008 5:38 AM EDT reply actions

Anyone else see the footage of Lopez backstage talking like a giant and saying how boring the draft is?

Classic!

by Trenton on Jul 3, 2008 9:51 AM EDT reply actions

^ LOL yeah.
And how he had no idea who the Nets brass were. I don’t blame him. lol

by erick on Jul 3, 2008 11:21 AM EDT reply actions
