Kiki: "We Think a Player Projected in Top 4 or 5 Could Fall to Us"

In an interview on the FAN, Kiki Vandeweghe said things are so uncertain right now that a player once projected as a high lottery pick could drop to #10. "We find we're doing research on players projected very high that we thought would be gone," said the Nets' GM. He only identified one player in that group, however: Brook Lopez. Vandeweghe also said trading Richard Jefferson "would be difficult for us".

Sounds like no one wants a part of RJ’s contract.
We might to sweeten the deal with KVH or Boki in a S&T

You work from 7 to 12 at night…that’s unfortunate. As far as the major change, how about in the coaching ranks instead of a player? Anyone for Marc Jackson to replace Lawrence?

@ brett
does a bear crap in the woods?
franky boy or mark jackson as nets head coach … that’s got to be the easiest choice in history
i think i’ll go with the guy who actually knows how to dribble a basketball, make a bounce pass and take a jump shot … the guy who doesn’t put you to sleep when he talks … the guy who is not afraid to look players in the eye … the guy who players can respect and believe in … yeah, i think i’ll go with mark jackson over franky boy as nets head coach … and i would venture a guess that the overwhelming majority of net fans would go with jackson over franky boy as well
