The Nets did indeed have discussions about Pau Gasol with the Grizzlies last week, offering Jason Collins, Jamaal Magloire, Bostjan Nachbar and picks. But Nets' ownership may have been against taking on another big contract, or the deal may not have been enough for the Grizzlies. Meanwhile, ESPN's Marc Stein reports the Nets have talked recently about sending Vince Carter to Indiana for Jermaine O'Neal and may be looking at Andre Miller as a piece in a three-way deal with Dallas.
