Yi Helping Nets with Marketing

PEAK, the Chinese sports apparel brand, and the Nets have reached a multi-year "sponsorship alliance" agreement. The agreement includes television visible courtside and baseline signage that can be seen during the 31 Nets' home games that will be broadcast in China this season. PEAK has recently made in-roads in the sports apparel business. The highest profile basketball player it's signed? Jason Kidd.

I agree with the fact that Yi needs time but he needs to play aggressive and let the chips fall where they may.
If the shot is not falling, take it inside and get physical. Its time for Yi to start playing like a man and giving Carter and Harris some help

BrooklynZoo, if and when yi becomes more aggressive with his play and actually shows up every night, then it might be worth my spending energy to breakdown his lack of game. until then: yi sucks and you and everyone else knows it.
yi defenders rely on a few vague excuses:
rookie season: 1)he didn’t want to play for the bucks 2)he’s a rookie, 3) china basketball commitments
this year: 1)give him time to be consistent, 2) china basketball, 3)hey the team is .500 or better, don’t dwell on the negatives. i have yet to read 1 post that directly defends yi’s basketball performance. small wonder because there isn’t much there. he’s a streaky jump shooter who’ll give you 20 maybe 1 in 12 games. if he could avg 8 boards, 1 blk that’s within his current ability, then i’d get off his back.
the fact is: yi is not developing as he’s projected. he’s hardly developing. for a high lottery pick he’s a bust. face it. if he wasn’t chinese, would he be starting on this team??? i’m chinese and this is a damn shame. frank is cutting back his minutes. yi won’t be a starter for long. then, yi won’t sign much of an extension if at all. don’t worry, at this rate, i won’t need to criticize, and you won’t need to make excuses.
