Carter: They Boo Me Because They Miss Me

With tongue firmly planted in cheek, Vince Carter told TSN, Canada's sports channel, he enjoys playing in Toronto --"It's like home-- then adding: "The boo's don't really bother me. I still feel welcome here". In fact, he said he believed "they boo you because they miss you". Finally, a with smile on his face, Carter told the interviewer, "I know it's hard to let go, and I'm over it."

I am a Torontonian-turned-Nets-fan. What Vince has done to Toronto (pride)is very damaging. It is very understandable why they boo. The problem is it happens so often and for so long. In this case, I must admit that people of Toronto are not as graceful and forgiving as they should have. However, if that’s the only way to motivate Vince to play better, so be it.
