Nets Waive Storey

Awvee Storey can unpack his bags. The Nets left the camp invite behind as they traveled to Paris for Thursday's preseason opener, waiving Storey Monday afternoon. The move puts the Nets' roster at 18, not including Keith Van Horn.

at least they didnt Willie Randolph him. make him pack his bags, thinks hes going to enjoy europe and playing ball then to only call him up before the first game to say hes cut.
next to go? im guessing hamilton. it will come down to hodge vs gill IF there is that spot. kiki loves hodge but if we really want a 3rd pg and not just a player who can play a couple of positions then i think gill should make it. he is a legit pg who can handle the ball. hodge could, but if he is called on it will be for an extended period of time as either dooling or harris will be injured. vince can only do so much. but if you look at the offense and the movement used you could make a case you dont need a true pg, but you do need someone who can penetrate.
