If there was any doubt that Jason Kidd wanted to be traded to the Lakers last February, it was dispelled in Las Vegas this weekend. Kidd and Kobe Bryant tell Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski of their mutual desire to play next to one other in Laker blue and gold. "This is something that I will always remember," Kidd said. "This is something that could've been. We could be talking about, 'what are you going to do? Are you going to work out? I'll see you back in LA.' But unfortunately it didn't happen."
