Nets Ink Allen, Hope for Another Moore

The Nets have signed forward Malik Allen. The 29-year-old Allen played in 60 games for the Bulls last season, averaging 4.0 ppg and 2.0 rpg in 10.6 minutes per game. The contract is reportedly a non-guaranteed, one-year deal for the vet's minimum. The 6'-10", 255-pound Allen grew up in Willlingboro, was All-State at Shawnee High School in Medford and played college ball at Villanova. Rod Thorn says he sees something of Mikki Moore in Allen and adds the Nets could go with 15 players.
