WSJ: Nets Project Leading the Way for Brooklyn Revival

Stay connected for news and updates

The Wall Street Journal reports that the Atlantic Yards, anchored by the Nets' new arena, is leading the way in Brooklyn's comeback. Of the $9 billion in construction under way or planned over the next five years in and near downtown Brooklyn, Atlantic Yards represents almost half the total. Bruce Ratner's project is expected to command rents in the $50-to-$60-a-square-foot range, nearly double the current rate.
