Moore: Nets Offered Me $10.3 Million

A few days after signing with the Kings, Mikki Moore was still in the New York area, instructing kids at a basketball camp. In an interview with the Staten Island Advance, Moore talked about how much he wanted to stay, but that the disparity between the Nets offer and the Kings offer--almost $8 million--was too much. In fact, he said, his Nets teammates advised him to take the money and run.
