Ilic, Still Hurting, Opts Out of Eurobasket

Mile Ilic tried to run for the first time since spraining his ankle in the D-League two months ago and the results were not good. "Bruising showed up immediately so I came to training camp to thank our head coach for the call," he told the Serbian press in Belgrade. Ilic, out of the summer league because of the injury, is now out of the European championships as well, which are scheduled for September in Madrid.
