Ilic Commits to Serbian National Team

In an interview with Belgrade's Sportska Centrala, Mile Ilic said he hoped to play for Serbia this summer in European championships. Ilic is recovering from a severely sprained ankle he suffered in a D-League game. The Nets had hoped Ilic would play in the Orlando summer league this July but he said he does not expect to return to action "til the second half of the summer". Ilic, who went scoreless in five NBA games, admitted to being frustrated with his adjustment to both US culture and the NBA.
