Severe Ankle Sprain Brings Ilic Back to New Jersey

Mile Ilic was recalled from the D-League Tuesday, after a nine-game stint in Colorado that ended with an ankle sprain on Saturday. Ilic, the Nets' 7'-2" Serbian project, hurt himself in the third quarter of the Colorado 14ers game against the Sioux Falls Skyforce. He was hospitalized then released. He is out indefinitely. He averaged 5.2 ppg, 4 rpg and 1.8 bpg in the D-League.
