Kidd May Be in Magic, Oscar Territory But Not All-NBA

Jason Kidd is about to finish an extraordinary season, even by his standards. By putting up 13 points, 9 assists and eight rebounds a game, Kidd will join only Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson in an elite group of players with near triple-double averages for an entire season. Yet an informal poll of fellow writers by Dave D'Alessandro reveals that Kidd's chances of making even the third team all-NBA are very small.
