Speculation Continues re Kidd Trade...but No Indication Nets Will Deal

Phil Jackson says the idea of a Jason Kidd-Andrew Bynum trade should never be considered "ludicrous". Magic GM Otis Smith says his owner isn't opposed to adding another big contract ... like Kidd's. Everyone in Chicago thinks Scott Skiles' departure could be a first step toward acquiring Kidd. Cleveland, Dallas, Denver ... wherever. Problem is Rod Thorn doesn't appear ready to pull the trigger.

ok so obviously kidd hates skiles, but what was the specific circumstance that brought this on?

by KiddFan5 on Dec 26, 2007 12:52 AM EST reply actions

if kidd went to denver, would the nuggets have to put k-mart in to help matchup salaries?

@ al ryan
If their going to put K-Mart with the deal, then Thorn should not even consider it. I don’t want that selfish brat on this team. Sure he helped this team a lot but he didn’t earn almost the same money that Kidd has. I mean, how many games has K-Mart actually played in ever since we traded him?

There’s word from Knick executives that a Kidd for Nate Robinson and Malik Rose trade is near completion. Finishing touches – possibly including Sean Williams and a Knick 2nd round draft pick – need to be added. Rod Thorn has issued a statement saying “we need to rebuild before the Brooklyn move, which will definitely take place sometime this century”.

ok please tell me the newark hawk is joking at that trade, and i never said just k-mart for kidd.denver should add some **** players like chuckie atkins or something like that

of course Newark Hawk is kidding, the Nets wouldn’t consider that trade unless Jerome James were included, just think, the new big 3, James, Collins, Magloire
