Nets Waive Wesley

The Nets announced on Thursday what has been expected since they made Monday's trade with the Hornets: they have waived David Wesley. The roster is now officially down to 13.

I know that the whole Wesley for Ilic/Robinson thing was to save money, and I know that Thornski isn’t signing anyone else to save money, but we all know that the bench needs another shooter, and if we sign a rookie then we still wouldn’t have to pay luxury, (that’s why they’re staying away from Houston, Hite, and Adams) so why not someone like Derrick Byars? I think my memory serves me correctly that the Nets were looking at him with that 17th pick last draft…

I would love to have Hassan Adams back I loved his energy & passion he wasn’t no upcoming superstar but he was well liked.
