Nets Handle Shorthanded Celtics

The Nets used balanced scoring and solid defense to beat the Celtics, who were without Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen, at IZOD Center Tuesday night. Five Nets finished in double figures, led by Boki Nachbar with 15. Antoine Wright hit six of his eight shots, finishing with 14 points, four boards and four assists, and Mateen Cleaves caught fire late, helping to put the game away with 10 fourth-quarter points. Nenad Krstic played 20 minutes, scoring six points on 3-of-9 from the floor. Before the game, Jason Kidd got a workout in.
