Eric Williams Needs No Introduction to Fellow Rookies

Stay connected for news and updates

By now, everyone should know that the Nets like Eric Williams. They contacted his agent hours after the NBA Draft and offered him a non-guaranteed contract...which would become fully guaranteed if he makes the team. Then, in the summer league, the 6'-9", 265-pound forward with the 7'-4" wingspan put up decent numbers, averaging 10 ppg and 6 rpg. It shouldn't have come as a surprise. When up against the best, Williams usually shines. Problem is Nets don't know if he wants them.
