After watching him the last two weeks, Croatian National Team Coach Neven Spahija praised the Nets' Zoran Planinic as "already one of the best European players" in the open court. He added that Planinic earned himself the starting job at the point for Croatia. Croatia plays Spain and Greece next week in the final tune-up for Eurobasket 2005.
