For the second time in five days, a major New York daily has backed the idea of remaking downtown Brooklyn. In both cases, editorial writers offered at least tacit approval of Bruce Ratner's plan for a mini-city anchored by the Nets' new arena. Today, it was the New York Times. Last week, it was Newsday.
